This article examines current issues in the formation of the terminology system of the Uzbek language. It
analyzes the challenges of standardizing terms, the creation of new scientific terminology, and their adaptation to the
language. The article also discusses the influence of language policy and lexical processes on the system of terms, as
well as the ways of developing Uzbek terminological units in the context of modern scientific and technological progress
