The article addresses the issue of teaching critical thinking in the context of English learning. Critical thinking is
a fundamental principle of successful professional activity. The educational process in Uzbekistan, which has long been
hampered by repetitive procedures, outdated material, and antiquated techniques, is currently undergoing a series of
adjustments to align with European Bologna Process norms
