Ushbu maqolada O‘zbekiston oliy o‘quv yurtlarining ingliz tili va adabiyoti yo‘nalishida tahsil olayotgan talabalar
misolida tinglab tushunish kompetensiyasini rivojlantirishdagi asosiy qiyinchiliklar o‘rganiladi. Tadqiqotda 60 nafar
talaba ishtirok etdi. Natijalarga ko‘ra, aksent, leksik tanqislik va tez nutq kabi omillar tinglab tushunishga salbiy ta’sir
ko‘rsatmoqda. Maqolada ushbu muammolarning yechimiga qaratilgan samarali usullar, xususan, kontekstli eshituv, shadowing
texnikasi va subtitrli materiallardan foydalanish taklif etiladi.
