This article explores the use of multimodal texts in reading instruction and examines their impact on reading
comprehension, student engagement, and critical literacy. Drawing on recent research and theoretical perspectives, the
study highlights how the integration of visual, textual, and digital elements can support more effective and meaningful
reading experiences.
