The Integration of Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Esp Instruction: Enhancing Professional Communicative Competence in Higher Education

The growing use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in education has created new opportunities for
enhancing the teaching of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) in higher education. This article examines the theoretical
foundations of integrating artificial intelligence into ESP instruction and its contribution to the development of professional
communicative competence. The study is based on an analysis of contemporary scientific literature on artificial intelligence,
educational technologies, and ESP methodology. The findings indicate that AI-powered tools support personalized
learning, provide immediate feedback, and facilitate authentic language practice. The article concludes that the effective
integration of AI technologies can improve ESP learning outcomes and better prepare students for professional communication
in the digital era
