Ushbu maqolada umumta’lim maktablarida o‘quvchilarning bilim olishga bo‘lgan ichki motivatsiyasini shakllantirish
va rivojlantirishda formativ (shakllantiruvchi) baholash mexanizmlarining o‘rni hamda ahamiyati ilmiy jihatdan
tahlil qilingan. An’anaviy summativ baholash tizimining motivatsiyani so‘ndiruvchi omillari va ularga muqobil o‘laroq formativ
yondashuvning afzalliklari ko‘rsatib o‘tilgan. Tadqiqot davomida teskari aloqa (feedback), o‘z-o‘zini baholash va
o‘zaro baholash usullarining ta’lim oluvchilar psixologiyasiga, xususan, “muvaffaqiyatga intilish” motiviga ko‘rsatadigan
ta’siri yoritilgan. Shuningdek, dars jarayonida formativ baholash strategiyalarini tizimli qo‘llash orqali ta’lim sifatini oshirish
bo‘yicha amaliy taklif va metodik tavsiyalar ishlab chiqilgan
