This article explores modern teaching methods in English language learning and their effectiveness in
improving students’ language skills. It discusses student-centered approaches, task-based learning, communicative language
teaching, and the use of digital technologies. The study highlights how these methods increase motivation, interaction,
and practical language use. The article concludes that modern methodologies are more effective than traditional
grammar-based instruction in developing communicative competence
