Аннотация

William Shakespeare is widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world’s pre-eminent
dramatist. No other writer’s plays have been produced so many times in so many countries, and no poet’s verse
has been read so widely in so many lands. His works, spanning tragedies, comedies, and histories, have not only shaped
the development of literary forms but also influenced the linguistic and thematic foundations of modern English literature.
His extensive vocabulary, innovative word formations, and unique linguistic structures have significantly shaped
contemporary English. This study explores Shakespeare’s contributions to lexical development, syntactic evolution, and
idiomatic expressions that remain integral to modern discourse. By analyzing a selection of Shakespearean neologisms,
metaphors, and rhetorical techniques, this paper demonstrates how his linguistic creativity has permeated everyday language,
literature, and popular culture. Moreover, this research explores Shakespeare’s contribution to the normalization
of English grammar and the enhancement of its expressive capacity.
