Аннотация

This article explores the role of gamification in enhancing the educational and cognitive motivation of primary
school students. In modern education, where capturing students’ attention and making the learning process engaging is
crucial, gaming methods have emerged as a powerful tool. The paper examines key features of gamification, including
game mechanics, feedback, competitive elements, visible progress, and emotional engagement, all of which contribute
to fostering an interest in learning. Special attention is given to the practical implementation of gamification in primary
education–how gaming technologies facilitate easier comprehension of material, promote independence, and cultivate a
positive attitude toward learning. Based on an analysis of theoretical studies and practical examples, the article concludes
that gamification not only boosts motivation but also aids in developing essential soft skills such as critical thinking, collaboration,
and creativity. This study will be valuable for teachers, educational methodologists, and anyone interested in
innovative approaches to education.
