This article explores modern trends in language teaching at the university level, focusing on the integration of

These trends aim to enhance student engagement and language proficiency while preparing students for the demands
of a globalized world. In addition, the article examines how research in applied linguistics, second language acquisition,
and pedagogy has informed the development of innovative teaching strategies. Finally, the article outlines the challenges
facing language education and suggests future directions for language teaching in higher education.
