Аннотация

The formation and development of oral speech skills is one of the most urgent tasks in teaching foreign
languages in Uzbekistan. Oral speech skills represent a fundamental and practically significant communicative competence
in the process of language learning. Oral speech encompasses understanding words and sentences in the target
language, correct pronunciation, the ability to express ideas briefly or in detail, providing clear and logical answers to
questions, active participation in conversations, and free expression of personal opinions. In foreign language teaching,
especially among schoolchildren in grades 5-6, particular attention is paid to the gradual development of oral speech
skills, taking into account learners’ age-related, cognitive, and psycholinguistic characteristics
