The article explores the role of artificial intelligence in English language teaching within the context of digital
transformation in education. It examines the potential of AI-based tools such as adaptive learning platforms, chatbots,
automated assessment systems, and speech recognition technologies in developing learners’ language skills. Particular
attention is paid to issues of personalized learning, learner motivation, and the development of autonomous learning
skills. Along with the advantages of integrating artificial intelligence into English language teaching, the study also highlights
pedagogical and ethical challenges that require a scientifically grounded and methodologically sound approach
