Gender Equality: an Important Prospect for the Development of a New Uzbekistan

In the rapidly changing modern world, gender equality has emerged as a new trend in the development of
social relations, where no individual or group is subjected to discrimination. European countries regard gender equality
as an important objective for economic development, the advancement of various sectors, and, overall, the achievement
of human well-being and happiness. At the same time, in several other countries, gender equality is perceived as a threat
to the erosion or collapse of certain traditional values. This article provides general information on the essence, concept,
and significance of gender equality in contemporary society
