Аннотация

This article examines the sociolinguistic effectiveness of integrating authentic texts into the training of prospective
English language teachers. The aim of the study is to determine how authentic materials enhance contextual language
use, pragmatic awareness, and intercultural communicative competence. The author employs comparative analysis,
descriptive methods, and experimental observation. The results indicate that authentic texts significantly strengthen
teachers’ sociolinguistic sensitivity and professional preparedness. The scientific novelty lies in developing an improved
framework for selecting and implementing authentic texts in teacher education. The findings provide valuable methodological
implications for linguodidactic practice
