This article examines how globalization has influenced the evolving role of English language teachers in countries
where English is taught as a foreign language. It highlights the impact of global interconnectedness, technological
advancement, and intercultural communication on teachers’ professional identity and methodology. The paper argues
that modern English teachers are no longer limited to linguistic instruction but also serve as cultural mediators, digital
facilitators, and global educators. The study emphasizes the importance of teacher adaptability, intercultural competence,
and continuous professional development in responding to the demands of a globalized educational environment
