This article examines the transition from access to success in advancing inclusive education in universities,
situating the discussion within global trends in higher education. While access initiatives have expanded opportunities
for students from diverse backgrounds, true inclusion requires moving beyond enrollment figures to ensure equitable
participation, academic achievement, and long-term success. It also analyzes institutional strategies such as curriculum
adaptation, faculty training, universal design for learning, and targeted student support services. It highlights international
experiences and best practices, showing how inclusive policies contribute to social equity, improved retention rates, and
the overall quality of higher education. By emphasizing both structural reforms and cultural shifts, the article underscores
that inclusive education in universities is not only a question of fairness but also a driver of innovation, social cohesion,
and sustainable development.
