Ushbu maqolada urologiya fanining tarixiy rivojlanish bosqichlari, asosiy yo‘nalishlari va zamonaviy tibbiyotdagi
o‘rni yoritilgan. Qadimgi Misr, Shumer va Bobil davridan boshlab, Gippokrat, Galen va Ibn Sino kabi buyuk
olimlarning ilmiy merosi tahlil qilingan. Shuningdek, Yevropa tibbiyotida urologiya fanining shakllanishida Salerno tibbiyot
maktabi, Frantsisko Dias, Jan Sivial va Félix Guyon kabi olimlarning qo‘shgan hissasi ko‘rsatib o‘tilgan. Zamonaviy diagnostika
va jarrohlik yutuqlari bilan bir qatorda, urologiyani o‘qitish bosqichlari hamda pedagogik tamoyillari ham keng
bayon etilgan. Ayniqsa, interaktiv, multimedia va raqamli texnologiyalar, jumladan, virtual simulyatorlar, 3D-modellar va
kengaytirilgan reallik (AR) texnologiyalarining urologiya ta’limida qo‘llanilishi alohida o‘rganilgan
